In the fourth match of IPL 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered their first defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The match was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and presented an interesting contest.

Royal Challengers Bangalore batted first and scored 206 runs, in which Virat Kohli played an excellent inning of 51 runs in 43 balls. While chasing this target, Sunrisers Hyderabad had to score 171 runs for eight wickets.
During the match, there was a real eye-candy action by Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kavya Maran. Kavya’s angry-relieved reaction has gone viral on social media, and even started a meme fest.
Meanwhile, a person supported the SRH owner and said, “Kavya Maran’s reaction is every SRH fan’s reaction, I mean why are you guys hitting every single ball, just stop there for a moment.”
Expressing similar sentiments, a fan said, “Kavya Maran’s reactions today. You have to feel for him. This is not a very good day for him and SRH..”
When asked how his team viewed the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins said, “It was not an ideal night. We scored a handful of runs with the ball and unfortunately lost a few wickets during our innings. We were the ones to bat first, it seems to be working for us. Before the last few wins, we were thinking that we were the team to bowl first. But, it did not suit us,”
With this win, Royal Challengers Bangalore got four points from nine matches, while Sunrisers Hyderabad are in third place with ten points from eight matches. This match was an exciting twist in the new season of IPL, which kept the cricket fans interested.
