Virat Kohli has revealed his post-retirement plans, marking a significant moment in the history of Indian cricket. He told that after cricket he will take a long break.
Virat Kohli is remembered for his fitness and consistency in scoring runs at the highest level. Because of which his decision has brought to light the discussion in the world of cricket.
Kohli said in talks with his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore on the decision of a long break,
“I think as a player, our careers have an expiration date. So I’m just working backwards. I don’t want to end my career thinking, ‘Oh, what if I had that special Have done it on the day’ because Kohli said at RCB’s Royal Gala Dinner, “I can’t do it all the time. So it’s just about not leaving any work incomplete and not having any regrets later, which I’m sure I won’t do.”
He further added, “Once my work is done, I will be gone, you won’t be able to see me for a while (smiles). So as long as I play, I want to give my all and that’s it.” It’s the only thing that keeps me going.”
Virat Kohli is currently playing for RCB in IPL 2024 and his players are seeing impressive run-scoring proceedings. His fans are feeling proud of his decision and are wishing him all the happiness for his future.
