About Hardik’s performance
The lack of batting of the 30 year old player is visible. So far, he has been able to score 197 runs in 9 matches at an average of 24.62 and strike rate of 151.53, his performance in bowling has also not been satisfactory, while he has taken only 4 wickets.
Aaron feels that Hardik’s move to return to Mumbai has backfired and has put a lot of pressure on him.
In this context, Aaron says, “Hardik had established a legacy in Gujarat Titans, but now he is under pressure in Mumbai Indians. But I am confident of him that he will be back in his great form soon.”
“Hardik definitely. Hardik is a proven match-winner. I know he is not at his best at the moment. There is a lot of noise around the Mumbai Indians camp. He is taking a lot of pressure. No matter what happens, He must be thinking, I was winning trophies in GT (Gujarat Titans). Why did I come here (laughs). I would say it is unnecessary pressure because you were performing well in Gujarat. Establishing my legacy on the Titans,” Aaron said.
“But then he has come to Mumbai Indians and I understand why because he loves Mumbai. He loves Mumbai Indians. They gave him the starting platform and through that he has achieved a lot in world cricket. Has done. But you have to see that he has done it.” Really good performance at the Titans, so, I think once you take him out of that pressure spot, he’ll shine,” Aaron said.
