Finch said on a sports show,
“I think there are a few reasons that hasn’t gone well, and I think it starts with the auction table.” He further said, “RCB management spends heavily on batsmen while the budget for bowlers, especially spinners, is very low.”
Questioning the team’s credibility, Finch said, “I think there is a lack of world-class spinners and that was proved in the game against KKR.” “There must be constant trust,” he added.
Finch also questioned the decision of the RCB team management and said,
“I think sometimes they have some issues playing players out of position, I mean getting Cameron Green at such a big price, for such a big percentage of the salary cap, then getting him to bat in the middle order. Where batting at the top is not that comfortable, it’s a really weird move to ask a guy to do something he’s not comfortable with to begin with. Are not prepared for ultimate success.
