Looking at Arshdeep’s form, the BCCI selectors have included him in the team, and he has got a chance to be a part of the India team.
He has taken 12 wickets in 9 matches in the IPL so far, which shows his excellent performance.
Apart from this, Arshdeep also played an important role in India’s victory in the Under-19 World Cup.
He took up the responsibilities in the IPL with PBKS in 2019, and since then he has continued to hone his skills and deliver stellar performances.
His coach and former first-class cricketer Jaswant Rai said.
“Before the IPL, Arshdeep worked hard on speed as well as variety. His hard work is visible in his performance. This speaks volumes about his skills and the confidence shown by the selectors in picking him over other talented fast bowlers,”
Indian team coach Rahul Dravid is also blessed towards Arshdeep. Seeing his game, they have decided to include him in the team, and it is expected that Arshdeep will perform even better for his team.
India will start their World Cup campaign against Ireland on June 5 in New York. This will be an important occasion when Arshdeep and his team will prove their capabilities and try to make India victorious.
After all, looking at Arshdeep Singh’s bowling and performances, one thing is clear – Indian cricket needed another explosive bowler, and Arshdeep is playing the role with great gusto.
