Pat Cummins said, “T20 cricket has always been a game of finishes and batsmen, but in this IPL we have reached a new level.” He further said, “In the last few editions we saw scores of more than 250 several times, but this season even a total of 200 was not safe.”
It is interesting that the 250 mark has been broken only twice in the history of IPL this season. This situation indicates that the pitch and match conditions have changed and now the batsmen are facing more challenges.
