In the first innings, Gujarat Titans made a total of 199/4 and Punjab Kings chased down the total on the second last delivery of the innings to clinch a victory by 3 wickets. Punjab Kings are now placed in the 5th place in the points table with 2 wins in 4 matches while Gujarat Titans are standing at the 6th position with the same number of wins.
Shashank Singh Played a Magnificent Inning of 61 runs
While chasing the given target, Punjab Kings lost their first wicket at the score of just 13 runs in 1.1 overs and the side had lost 4 wickets at the score of 70 runs in 8.4 overs. Shikhar Dhawan could not do much for the side and scored only 1 run while Jonny Bairstow scored 22 runs in 13 deliveries.
