In an exclusive interview on Dubai Eye 103.8, Rohit spoke openly about his cricket journey and his ‘human side’, he said
“The journey has been amazing, it’s been 17 years; I still hope to play a few more years and make an impact in world cricket,”
Speaking about the responsibility of captaincy, he said, “To captain your country is the biggest honor you can have, and for me, I never thought this day would come when I would captain one day. But yes, people say’ Good things happen to good people.
His thinking about his team has also inspired established players of Indian cricket. Rohit said, “I want us all to work together at the same time, and always play in the interest of the team.”
