The Indian cricket team has announced its squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, in which some big changes have been seen.

This time KL Rahul has not been included in the team, whereas experienced spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has again been included in the team.
This time Rohit Sharma will be the captain of the Indian cricket team, while Hardik Pandya will serve as his vice-captain.
Yashasvi Jaiswal has been included in the team as a starting option. Apart from this, Shivam Dubey, who performed well in IPL 2024, has also been included in the squad.

- Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah: included among the fast bowlers.
- Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson: Options for wicketkeeping.
- Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja: All-rounder players.
- Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav: Specialist batsmen.
The Indian team’s first match will be against Ireland in New York on June 5. After this, the team will compete with Pakistan on June 9. After that, India will play against the USA and Canada on June 12 and 15 respectively.
Uttarakhand batsman Shubman Gill and Uttar Pradesh batsman Rinku Singh will also be among the players included in the team. Both the cricketers have got a chance to go to the reserve list in the main category.
Players who have performed well in IPL 2024 have also got a place in the team. This also includes Rishabh Pant, who has been in good form for some time now.
