Yashasvi Jaiswal who was in the best form of all time in the last season of the Indian Premier League could do much for Rajasthan Royals in the initial four matches of the ongoing season. He scored only 39 runs in the last 4 matches with a very poor average of 9.75. His consistent poor performances in IPL have given rise to many questions including his availability for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup which is scheduled to start from June 1 in the United States.
Rohit Sharma Doesn’t Want Yashasvi to be in Poor Form
The performance of Yashavsi Jaiswal has been quite impressive in the recent test matches against England as he played a very pivotal role for the side while opening with Rohit Sharma. But the upcoming ICC event will proceed under the shortest format of the game and hence the struggling form of the renowned batter is not a good sign for the Indian side.
Yashasvi Jaiswal’s performance in the previous season of the tournament was exceptional as he smashed 625 runs in 14 contests at an impressive batting average of 48.08 and a strike rate of 163.61 including 5 half-centuries and 1 magnificent hundred. Yashasvi Jaiswal has established his identity by scoring consistent runs and showcasing his abilities to turn the favour of the game at any stage.
“Yashavi Jaiswal should take some time to get Settle” says Jaffer
Jaffer feels that Yashasi Jaiswal should spend some time on the crease before attempting some lofted or big shots. Jos Buttler opens the innings with Jaiswal and therefore Jaiswal can spend some time on the crease before worrying about the run rate as Buttler is going through a very good form and also smashed a magnificent century in the previous game against RCB.
All Eyes will be on Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal who could not do much for the side in the last few matches for the side is expected to come up with an impressive form in the imminent clash against Gujarat Titans which is going to be played in Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals will have an advantage of playing at the home ground and Jaiswal will also try his best to contribute runs to the side in the upcoming encounter.
