Raina Said about Reason behind Rohit Sharma’s captaincy change
Raina revealed in the interview that he did not agree with the decision and said, “To be honest, I think Rohit should have remained the captain of Mumbai Indians.” According to Raina, Rohit is experienced and can take the team in the right direction, although he is a little older now in terms of age.

Raina also acknowledged that fans’ unhappiness under Hardik Pandya’s leadership is justified, but urged fans not to target Hardik or his family on a personal level.
Raina said, “Everyone has the right to express his views, but personal criticism is not right.”

Mumbai Indians are currently in a mediocre position in IPL 2024, where they have won 3 out of 7 matches. Raina talked about how the team’s next performance could determine whether Rohit Sharma is brought back as captain or not.
“If MI fails in 3-4 more matches then Rohit can be made captain again,” Raina said.
