The performance of the 42-year-old former skipper of the Chennai Super Kings has been impressive in the ongoing season as he is consistently hitting runs in the death overs and helping the side with a margin of 20-30 runs in just a few deliveries. 

He is also not even dismissed for once in the ongoing season and smashed three consecutive sixes in the contest against Mumbai Indians to show his class. However, the fans of CSK want him should come early to the bat as it might affect the overall performance of the side in a positive way.

Fleming pointed out that, Dhoni has faced knee injuries in the past and therefore he is currently not able to play many deliveries and that is one of the reasons why he is not coming early to bat. Fleming admitted that the crowd want to see him up in the order and also awaits to see his batting but considering the knee issues and his recovery, he is coming at the right position.

CSK faced a defeat in the previous clash as Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul made an impressive partnership of 134 runs for the first wicket while chasing the score of 176 and did not give any opportunity to CSK’s bowlers to get back in the game. However, the performance of the side has been balanced in the season as they are standing in the 3rd position with 4 wins in 7 matches.
