Today, the 12th match of IPL 2024 is being played between Hyderabad Sunrisers and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first.

IPL GT vs SRH 2024 In today’s match, Sunrisers were able to score only 162 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs of their innings.
Abdul Samad ensured his team crossed the 150+ mark. Most players scored at least 15 or more, but no one could exceed much more.
Mayank Agarwal contributed 16 runs, Travis Head 19, Abhishek Sharma 29, Aiden Markram 17, Klaasen 24, Shahbaz Ahmed 22 and Abdul Samad contributed 29 runs. This happened once in the first 16 seasons of IPL. This time this has happened for the third time in 12 matches only.
So now let’s see whether Gujarat will be able to cross the target of 163 runs and wear the crown of victory at home.
GT vs SRH, 2nd Innings: Recounter by GT
In Sunday’s first match in Ahmedabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat, Gujarat batsmen achieved the target of 163 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs with the loss of 3 wickets in 19.1 overs.
The brilliant innings of Sai Sudarshan and David Miller took the team to victory. SRH’s Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad also performed well, but three wickets from Mohit Sharma changed the outcome of the game.
GT could score 78 runs till the 10th over of its innings, after which it managed to reach 100+ runs in 13 overs.
In the end, Gujarat Titans won the Indian Premier League-2024 by scoring 168 runs at the loss of 30 wickets in 20 overs!
By defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets, Gujarat won their second title.
GT vs SRH: Statement
Sai Sudharsan: I’m happy that my contribution helped the team win, so definitely happy.
It was a difficult wicket to play the fast bowlers, bowling into the pitch was hard to score off, so we decided to target that one over of spin.
Great contributions from Mohit bhai and Rashid bhai, picked crucial wickets and restricted the target by around 10-15 runs. Playing in front of the home crowd is a plus point for us.
Everyone wants to get more runs, I just want to contribute my best, milestones will happen by itself.

I think they bowled well, just losing a couple of wickets, didn’t have that one person who kicked on to get a fifty, that happens.
Today it was, we thought the wicket was going to get a bit slow, the off-cutters did grip, we had 8 bowling options in our side. I thought the wicket played the same in both innings.
It’s T20 cricket isn’t it? Had a fantastic couple of games with the bat, today we didn’t quite click.
