Indian batsman Abhishek Sharma recently revealed how he helped Team India win the 2024 T20 World Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.

On this occasion, he told that this achievement has inspired him a lot and now he is looking forward to bringing another ICC title for India.
After this victory, the enthusiastic team won the title with their dominating performance in Barbados on 29 June after waiting for 11 years.
The Indian team made its name in history by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final. After this success, India uniquely became the first team to win the World Cup without losing.
When the team went to play against Zimbabwe under the leadership of captain Shubman Gill in Barbados, Abhishek Sharma told that he was watching the match with Yuvraj Singh, who was seen very emotional after his victory.
He also shared that it was an unforgettable moment for him and motivated him a lot.
Speaking in a video posted by BCCI, Abhishek Sharma said:
“I was just watching the match with Yuvi paaji. When India won against them, he got very emotional. I got very motivated by that. And I loved it too. Because it is everyone’s dream to win the ICC trophy.”
“And he has won so much for India. And to see him getting emotional. It was a moment I will never forget. We celebrated it as well. So I think this World Cup was very special. And I got so motivated that I wanted to win the World Cup for India.”
After this title win, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja bid farewell to their T20I careers. All the three captains ended their careers on a high, which became a unique moment for Indian cricket.
Speaking about the title, Rituraj Gaikwad said that it was a special moment and he backed the team for this important win. He also recalled the important role of Rohit, Virat and Jadeja and praised them.
Now a new chapter is starting for the Indian team, when they will enter their next series against Zimbabwe.
The series will start on July 6, and here the young players of the Indian team will showcase their abilities, while Abhishek Sharma and Rituraj Gaikwad will inspire them with their experience.
