Fourth Consecutive Win for Sunrisers Hyderabad
With an outstanding win against Delhi Capitals, SRH secured their fourth consecutive victory in the last 4 matches. SRH lost to only KKR and GT in the ongoing edition of the tournament and emerged victorious against all the rest of the sides. The batting department of the Sunrisers Hyderabad is performing exceptionally well as Travis Head, Klaasen and other top-order batters are continuously hitting runs for the side.
Travis Head played an Impressive Knock of 89 runs
Both the openers of the side, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma provided the side with an exceptional start and SRH had scored 131 runs in 6.2 overs. Travis Head played an impressive innings of 89 runs in just 32 deliveries with the help of 11 fours and 6 sixes at a strike rate of 278.13 while Abhishek Sharma also smashed 46 runs in just 12 deliveries at an outstanding strike rate of 383.33 which includes 2 fours and 6 sixes.
Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen could not contribute much for the side while Nitish Kumar Reddy and Abdul Samad contributed 37 and 13 runs for the side respectively. Shahbaz Ahmed played an impressive innings of 59 runs in just 29 deliveries with the help of 7 boundaries and a strike rate of 203.45 and helped SRH cross a total of 250 runs.
Rishabh Pant played an innings of 44 runs
After a long gap, Pant made his first appearance at the home ground of Delhi. He scored 44 runs in 35 deliveries but considering the total made by SRH, his strike rate of 125.71 was quite low. From the bowling department of SRH, T. Natarajan picked up the highest 4 wickets at the expense of 19 runs at an economy of 4.75.
