Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to field first

Rajasthan Royals’ captain, Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to field first considering the nature of the wicket. He said that they are not thinking much about the goal and are just focused on the process.

The performance of Samson in the previous matches has been quite impressive and Rajasthan Royals are currently standing in the first position in the table with 4 victories in the previous 5 contests. The performance of the batting department of the side has also been very impressive and in the upcoming game, the side is determined to maintain the same flow.

Joss Buttler and Ashwin are not available for the game against PBKS 

Due to an injury, Jos Buttler is not available for the game and R Ashwin is also outside the playing XI. In place of Buttler and Ashwin, Rovman Powell and Tanush Kotian are added to the lineup of the Rajasthan Royals. Joss Buttler is one of the most important batters for Rajasthan Royals as his performances in the last few seasons and in the previous few matches for the side have been tremendously impressive.

However, due to the absence of Shikhar Dhawan in the PBKS squad, the top order of both sides seems equally strong against each other and tough contest is expected between both sides in Chandigarh today.
