Rinku Singh reacts on being left out of the T20 World Cup squad
Rinku Singh has broken his silence on not being selected in the T20 World Cup and shared his thoughts in an interview.
Talking to Dainik Jagran, Rinku said, “Yes, anyone feels a little bad if they don’t get selected despite performing well. However, this time I could not be selected due to the team combination. No problem, one should not think too much about something that is not in your hands. Yes, I was a little upset in the beginning. Whatever happened is fine. Whatever happened happened for good. Rohit Bhaiya did not say anything special. He just said that just keep working hard. There is a World Cup again after two years. There is no need to worry too much. This is what he told me.”
This statement of Rinku shows his maturity and his dedication towards the game. He also revealed that Indian team captain Rohit Sharma has advised him to be patient and work hard continuously.
