The performance of Dhoni for CSK has been magnificent as he led the side to five IPL titles and has played 11 finals of the tournament. In the current season also, his performances have been very crucial for the side both with bat and the gloves.

Former Indian RP Singh said that it doesn’t seem like it is going to be the last season for MS Dhoni to play in IPL. There are fitness issues with MS Dhoni and he is continuously doing well for the side therefore many greats are expecting that he will be available to play in IPL in the upcoming season of the tournament too. 

Suresh Rain is a very good friend of Dhoni and he also regularly talks with him therefore it can be predicted very easily that if he’s commenting something on Dhoni’s plans, it might be accurate and to the best of his knowledge.

MS Dhoni remains not out in the current season

In the past 6 matches, MS Dhoni has scored 59 runs for the side at a magnificent strike rate of 236.00 with the help of 4 fours and 6 sixes including the best score in an innings of 37* runs. He is also doing well with the gloves for the side and his presence also motivates other players to perform well and eventually Gaikwad also feels supportive.

In the previous season, he scored 104 runs at an average of 26.00 and a strike rate of 182.46 with the help of 13 boundaries. IPL 2023 was the best season for the player as he smashed 461 runs in 18 contests at an average of 41.90 and a strike rate of 162.89 including 32 fours, 25 sixes and four magnificent half-centuries. CSK also reached the final of the tournament but faced a defeat against Mumbai Indians in the final.
