On Thursday morning, the new kings of international cricket from Team India were welcomed in New Delhi. After the victory of the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian cricket team had the honor of returning to India on a special chartered flight arranged by the BCCI.

On this occasion, a large number of fans had gathered to welcome them at the International Airport of Delhi. They were ready even in this rainy weather for their favorite players, who awaited their arrival.
The international representing players of the team, their family members and staff boarded a bus and left for ITC Maurya Hotel, where the hotel staff had specially arranged cake and tricolor welcome drinks for them. But, there was another specialty in this welcome, that was the tune of the drum.
On hearing the beats of the drum, Indian cricket veterans like Suryakumar Yadav and captain Rohit Sharma enjoyed dancing without hiding their excitement. On this special occasion, they danced to the tune of dhol together with the dancers, which managed to bring smiles on their faces.
Indian cricket team gets excited welcome after glorious victory
The Indian cricket team has made their country proud by winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. The team was given a grand welcome at the international airport after winning the World Cup title. The team’s Air India flight landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the fresh morning, which included captain Rohit Sharma and his army.
After the victory, the Indian team made their return to the airport full of excitement and enthusiasm. Thousands of fans welcomed their favorite players who did a proud job for their country.
In his emotional expressions, a fan said, “We have been waiting for this moment for the last 13 years. The team has made us proud by winning the World Cup.”
The fan claimed that he was waiting for the World Cup since 4:30 in the morning. It was a reference to India’s World Cup win in 2011. On this special occasion, there was a loud gun welcome in advance, which included all the members of the team.
After being stranded in Barbados for a while on their return, the team has planned to go to Mumbai, where they will be felicitated in a grand ceremony. In Mumbai, they are scheduled to join an open-top bus parade, in which they will pass through the major landmarks of the city.
After winning this World Cup, the team has written a new chapter in the history of Indian cricket. There are also plans to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which will further energize the players.
The team has named its return flight as AIC24WC, which was the symbolic name of Air India Champions 24 World Cup. After this achievement, the team has given another great knock for the country.
