In this exciting match, Indian bowler Rinku Singh proved his bowling talent and played an important role in turning the match in favor of the Indian team.

When the host team needed 9 runs in the last two overs, captain Suryakumar Yadav chose Rinku Singh to bowl. This was Rinku’s first over in international cricket, and he proved it completely right.
Rinku took two important wickets for just 3 runs, tilting the balance of the match in India’s favor.
Rinku Singh dismissed Kushal Perera as a right-arm off-spinner on his second ball. The Sri Lankan batsman tried to hit a big shot, but Rinku showed him the way to the pavilion by taking a brilliant catch inside the 30-yard circle. He also showed his ability by catching Ramesh Mendis on the last ball of that over.
After the match, Rinku Singh shared some pictures of his bowling on Instagram and wrote, “Khatron ke Khiladi, bowling in the death overs.”
He also tagged Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav, who showed full confidence in this decision.
Suryakumar Yadav also performed his captaincy responsibility well, where the result of this match was tied, due to which the Super Over was played.
In the Super Over, Sri Lanka batted first and scored only 2 runs. The Indian team showed aggression in the Super Over and ensured victory by hitting a four on the very first ball.
After the match, Suryakumar Yadav explained the reason for choosing Rinku Singh to bowl, saying,
“Siraj and some others had overs left. But I felt that Rinku is more suitable for that wicket. I have made him practice a lot in the nets, and that’s why I gave him a chance.”
