In the 24th contest of the tournament which was played between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, GT emerged victorious with the help of a magnificent boundary by Rashid Khan on the last delivery of the innings. While batting first, the Royals made a challenging total of 196/3 at the end of 20 overs as Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson made impressive half-centuries.

The first wicket of Rajasthan Royals fell when Yashasvi Jaiswal was returned to the pavilion on the second delivery of the fifth over when the total score of the side was just 32 runs. Joss Buttler also got dismissed in the next over and the side had lost both the openers at a total of just 42 runs in 5.4 overs.
Sanju Samson played a very crucial knock for the side and scored 68 runs in 38 deliveries with an excellent strike rate of 178.95 including 7 fours and 2 sixes while Riyan Parag also contributed 76 runs for the side while facing 48 runs at a strike rate of 158.33 including 3 fours and 5 sixes.
Shubman Gill’s Pivotal Knock Lead GT to an Impressive Win
Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan accumulated 64 runs for the first wicket in 8.2 overs and provided the side with a good start. Sudharsan scored 35 runs in 29 deliveries while Shubman Gill played an impressive innings of 72 runs in just 44 deliveries with the help of 6 fours and 2 massive sixes.
Rahul Tewatia also played an innings of 22 runs in 11 deliveries at a strike rate of 200.00 while Vijay Shankar also contributed 16 runs for the side. From the bowling department of Gujarat Titans, Umesh Yadav and Rashid Khan picked up 1-1 wickets while Mohit Sharma also took 1 wicket by giving 51 runs in 4 overs.
