BREAKING: Yashasvi Jaiswal Set to Return in Vijay Hazare Trophy

Indian team opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is all set to rejoin the Mumbai team. He is expected to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Sources indicate that Jaiswal will join the Mumbai team in Jaipur on December 29. This will be a major boost for Mumbai.

Jaiswal recently fell ill. He experienced severe stomach pain after the match against Rajasthan in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. He was admitted to a hospital in Pune. Doctors diagnosed him with acute gastroenteritis.

Jaiswal’s Return

Jaiswal is now recovering. He is expected to play for Mumbai in the match against Chhattisgarh on December 29. He will also play in the subsequent matches. Earlier reports suggested that India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav and all-rounder Shivam Dube would also play for Mumbai in January.

A source said, “Yes, the RCB women’s team will undergo a practice session at the Wankhede Stadium on January 2 from 4 pm to 7 pm. This will be the first time a WPL team will practice at the Wankhede Stadium,” but this is a separate piece of news; the main focus is on Jaiswal. No, that WPL news is unrelated.

Mumbai Team to Get a Strong Batsman

The Mumbai team is playing its league matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Jaipur. Jaiswal’s return will further strengthen the team’s batting lineup. As India’s Test and ODI opener, his inclusion is great news for the team.

Earlier reports indicated that Suryakumar and Dube would play in the matches on January 6 and 8. Now, Jaiswal is also joining the team soon.

According to sources in the Mumbai Cricket Association, Jaiswal’s fitness is being assessed. He will only take the field after he is fully recovered. The team hopes that he will start playing before the end of the year.
