The IPL festivities have come to an end, and in this great match held in Chennai, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets. With this resounding win, Kolkata won their third overall trophy.

Jay Shah issued a statement on this special occasion, in which he acknowledged the important role of the ground staff and praised them. “The unsung heroes of our successful T20 season have been our incredible ground staff, who worked tirelessly to provide great pitches even in difficult weather conditions,” he said.

Apart from this good news, Shah said that the groundsmen and curators of all the 10 IPL venues will get a prize of Rs 25 lakh each, while the groundsmen and curators of 3 additional venues will get a prize of Rs 10 lakh each. He thanked all the staff whose hard work made the IPL a great success.
