BCCI Secretary Jay Shah made a big announcement on Monday that the groundsmen and curators of all the 10 IPL venues will be given Rs 25 lakh each as a token of appreciation for providing “fantastic pitches”.

Apart from this good news, Shah said that the groundsmen and curators of all the 10 IPL venues will get a prize of Rs 25 lakh each, while the groundsmen and curators of 3 additional venues will get a prize of Rs 10 lakh each. He thanked all the staff whose hard work made the IPL a great success.
